Superb experience even on a cloudy and rainy day.

There is no need to persuade people to go and see the GBR. All I would add is that you should not let a dull or rainy day put you off. We booked when the weather forecast was cloudy and rainy. As we went out to sea the water was a bit choppy but once we got to the pontoon the weather cleared a little. And in the water the fish certainly don't mind some bad weather! Staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great experience.

Great family day out, an amazing underwater experience!

We spent a glorious day out on the Great Barrier Reef with the kids. Fortunately, the weather conditions for us were on point. It’s a long boat ride out to the reef, which we enjoyed on the top deck. Once you get out there lunch is served over the next 1.5 hours and you grab your snorkel gear and get ready to dive. We have been snorkelling before, so we managed to get ready and into the water pretty quickly. For others on the platform, some of them were unsure. My husband helped a few international tourists and they were very grateful. Our only recommendation would be for more crew support on the platform, helping assist people when heading out. Otherwise, the crew were very friendly and the reef was absolutely incredible!
